Best customer service from any big corporation

Lots of the bad reviews on here are because people bought bad products.

Amazon is amazing for consumers:
- They issue refunds instantly.
- Best and most convenient customer service, live chat is so quick.
- Best deliver speeds.
- Easiest returns.

They prioritise customers a lot, highly recommend.

Amazon .. you are just useless at packaging

Yet another new book delivery fulfilled by Amazon themselves (U.K.), with pathetic strip of paper around only 3-sides of the book (inside their usual cardboard box) allowing the book to rattle around and get damaged (crushed corners).

What used to be one of their core competencies is now just a joke, while beautiful books (that the publisher takes great pains to make perfectly) arrive unnecessarily damaged.

Yet again wasted time getting another book sent out.

9 carat gold plated is con if descriptions say 9 carat gold

There are lots of 9 carat gold earrings available on amazon stating that they are 9carat gold. When I’ve contacted the sellers directly asking are they hallmarked because I can’t see at stamp on any of their marketing images, I’ve been told the reason for this is that the goods are 9 carat gold PLATED only. Consumer law states that goods must be accurately marketed THESE ARE NOT. Amazon should be checking their suppliers descriptions regularly to prevent this sort of thing.

Terrible

Terrible! Ordered a mower by mistake and immediately cancelled the order where they still sent it out for delivery, they have not paid me back my money yet and cannot get no answers from them, I suffer with serious long term health conditions and they have made me so poorly causing me so much worry and stress. Their customer service is as useful as a carrier bag full of holes!!

Amazon employee working at Hyderabad branch - HYD13 building. Honestly We don’t care about customers. We are trained to hang up calls & change your email without your permission. Mostly Left unsupervised by Managers to do as we please. Please Report all your problems to NEW email below. Will keep you updated on new correspondences.

Ordered laptop they sent me paper and a…

Ordered laptop they sent me paper and a toy. Proof sent over straight away. They wanted ups to collect parcel. They now denoy having the parcel even tho tracking shows delivered. It been 3 weeks still no refund. They refuse to re issue a laptop as they can't do that. I've had to now inform the police, trading standards and ombudsman.
Amazon are clearly scam artist
I don't have another £659 to re order. This item for 16th birthday
Service received is disgusting

Fraudulently sold me devices I can't use

Amazon have sold me devices, fraudulently, claiming that they allow me access to my music, to call my family, to stream video, etc. and I am unable to ANY of this on the devices at all. Amazon REFUSE (SEVEN attempts so far) to remove 2-factor authentication from my account meaning that I cannot register or access ANY of my devices (Echo, Echo Show, etc.). I have provided proofs of who I am (driving licence, passport, Iqama, etc.) as requested and STILL they refuse to remove this 'feature' despite PROMISING every time to do so. No only is this false advertising, it is also breaking the law under the Data Protection Act by denying me access to information that they are holding about me.

Amazon UK WORST Customer service and Complaint system ever

I contacted Amazon for an address to WRITE a complaint or should I say complaints. I have had endless issues. Last night onto CS for ages two operatives could not solve an issue, Hadn't a clue, missing the point of 'my download doesn't work.' Had to recontact and the next person forwarded it on and only the 4th person solved it. I bought a CD overpriced no cover, no inserts, no track list, no title etc. Been having dreadful deliveries left anywhere they can be stolen items left out in the elements so I want all this in writing but No they wont give an address, the complaints email is not accepting complaints. Its dreadful what company does not have a complaints procedure> Or address? Anyone would think I was trying to access official secrets or something. Dreadful Customer Service. They will also not accept a review if it is negative enough to warn Customers not to buy. None of this refelcts honesty

Poor customer service

Have spent a lot in the past. But recently they allowed a corrupt trader to trade and would not refund even though they knew goods had not arrived and seller had only issued part of a refund with no evidence

Worse company ever

Where do I start ??for the last year or so I have constantly told amazon regarding their delivery driver not following instructions to put my items in my safe place which is my shed as due to high theft in the area please do not put them on the doorstep..items have gone missing as I had the proof that they were not following my request which is on my amazon account..twice I have taken amazon to court and won due to their incompetence..but recently they have closed my account down due to me constantly telling them my parcels are going missing and I have all the proof in the world that their driver is either stupid or borderline lazy or is a thief but theybare pointing the finger at me the customer..I have spoken to the so called specialist team well if they are specialist I'm worried for the state of the world we live in..I have even sent emails to their CEO who obviously is as much use As a chocolate fire guard..if you do lose your items due to the driver delivering where ever he or she wants to expect no sympathy and have your account closed ..absolute shocking service.

Avoid buying expensive items from them!

Sent back a faulty item and they got it back on February 28th. Been told I have to wait 2 months (April 27th) before I can claim a refund.

Honestly if you have something over £100 to buy, don't buy on Amazon UK unless you want to wait potentially 60 days for a refund!

Flooded with Chinese knockoffs

I spend hours researching items before I purchase them - reading reviews, checking claims, company feedback, etc, yet the amount of times I receive something that is a poor attempt at copying whatever it was I meant to buy is ridiculous.

So many items are cheap Chinese knockoffs with reviews that appear to be faked or were left in return for a free item. Amazon also promotes some of these as recommended which would suggest a level of confidence.

If it wasn’t for prime and Amazon music I’d probably look elsewhere.

Disappointed with incorrect information

Bought an item amd yes it was past the returns date. However due to the lifele changing circumstances my so can no longer work. The item hasn't been used and is still boxed. I thought/hoped they might authorise a full refund. Was informed on the phone that there is a third party involved but however would appeal the 3rd party until refund agreed. This has not been the case and I am very disappointed with Amazon for giving incorrect information. I am now left with an item I no longer want or would use especially as I'm too busy caring for my sons life changing needs.. just a little compassion at this time would have meant so much

VERY Unhelpful Help line

I had my account hacked and most of my vouchers spent along with money used from my bank account to pay for items. Amazon informed me the next day that all sales had been stopped and my vouchers would be returned within 2-3 days. I have to date chatted with them 6 times, had to go to my bank to get my money refunded( took 5 mins), keep being told the "Relevant Department" will contact you within 24hrs to sort it out. All this took place on Feb 27th! If I could give them - * I would, they have had 46days to return my vouchers why do they need another 24hrs!.
My advice to anyone who gets Amazon vouchers is don't add them to your account until you are going to spend them!

Poor delivery service

We spend a lot of money with this firm and have endless problems. Items get left outside our door despite the fact we have a large sign outside saying do not leave outside. Items are damaged in particular books, these tend to have bent or damaged pages. Amazon don't appear to understand that running a busy company we do not have the time to drive to a post office to return things. Worst of all you can't leave a negative review regarding delivery, as they just wont allow it on the web site. They just do not listen !

The worst customer service that exists

The worst customer service that exists. 000…Staff unprofessional untrained have no idea what they doing they just cut you off.Spoken to 15 staff in the past month and a half and still my issue not resolved.Unbelievable
How can you employ people that have absolutely no idea how to do the job.

Company is terrible

Company is terrible. Customer service is awful and constant waste of time. I've had problems with orders and so many items turned up broken. Most recent is order to a wrong address and no help despite contacting immediately after order. So frustrating

I did not receive the product

I did not receive the product. I contacted DHL, they said that the product is poorly packaged and is being returned, without me receiving any email or notification.

I rated the 3rd party seller one star, blamed them, but Amazon wrote to me that Amazon is responsible for the delivery and packaging of the product. But they could not send me the product again because the 3rd partner has the product in stock. They asked me to reorder.

I reworded, experienced the exact same problem again.

No one will take full responsibility for product delivery, this is not a credible business. There's no way you can rely Amazon to deliver your product your order.

Amazon are very poor at Aftersales…

Amazon are very poor at Aftersales service. They have sold me a product in December 2023 that has failed and needs to be replaced. It is definitively covered by warranty as it is slightly over 3 months old.
They insist I must accept a refund and then re-order the item. It is not the same price now so I would have to pay £20 more and it seems I have to do the work of returning and re-ordering when Amazon should take care of this.
They are trying to avoid responsibility. I will have to sue them

60th anniversary

I bought doctor who 60th anniversary which starred David Tennant and it arrived fast the last time David Tennant was seen in doctor who was in 2013 in the last year of matt smith being the doctor and Catherine Tate 2010when David Tennant says his goodbye .
I was really happy with the condition that they arrived in and am very pleased
